National goaltender scouting

A closer look
at the crease.

Three birth years. A position-specific view of the next level.

USA Goalie Prospects follows U.S. goaltender prospects born in 2008, 2009 and 2010, with national lists organized by birth year and reports centered on their potential contribution to a junior team.

The inaugural edition includes 25 ranked goalies per class, plus an unranked watch list. Every report addresses junior fit, the elements of the goalie’s game that can translate, the reason for his placement and the next development step.

The 2025–26 edition

The completed 2025–26 season provides the performance foundation. Scouting and competitive context guide the assessment, with statistics kept in a supporting role. The research review compares a broader national candidate pool and establishes the inaugural published order. It does not display movement from an earlier draft as if it were a season-long ranking history.
