Flint Firebirds
Courville offers a junior club an athletic development candidate with actual major-junior experience. His confidence and competitive persistence give a staff reasons to evaluate how much responsibility he can earn as his game becomes more consistent.
A junior-club assessment describes staying engaged with the puck and developing professional habits. Those qualities are relevant to continued effort after difficult saves, but must connect to controlled positioning rather than dependence on repeated emergency responses.
The leading 2009 placement values a defined athletic and competitive assessment reinforced by a meaningful OHL introduction. His direct junior experience gives the projection practical substance, while earning a larger recurring role still requires more consistent execution.
The next gain is making that competitive effort more economical. A staff should assess whether he can arrive early, handle contact cleanly and reserve the athletic second effort for chances that actually require it.
His 2025–26 major-junior record lists 18 appearances with Flint. Those assignments provide a direct transition test against older competition.
